Forrest Long is a Canadian presently living in Alabama. His roots are in Atlantic Canada and that is evident in his work that often gives evidence of a rural and nautical theme.

He studied painting with several teachers but found his main niche in watercolor under the teaching of Tim Turpin in Nova Scotia. He still spends several weeks every year in Atlantic Canada photographing scenes, sketching and painting. His art is owned by collectors in Atlantic Canada and in the United States.

If you have any questions about any of the paintings displayed here, please email the artist. Also if you would like to commission a work please contact the artist for discussion on it.

I had my first solo exhibit and sale at the One Night Only Artique in Tuscaloosa, April 2008. I have had my art in two galleries in the Tuscaloosa area, but since moving to another part of the state I sell some of my smaller works at The Flying Monkey Satuday art and craft sale at Lowe Mill in Huntsville, AL. As well any of my work is available for sale online.
